Referring a patient to ExcelPath: What clinicians need to know
If you are a pediatrician, psychologist, psychiatrist, school social worker, or therapy provider, here is what you should know about referring a family to ExcelPath.
We have no waitlist.
When you refer a family to a clinic with a 6 month waitlist, you know what happens. They lose hope, lose momentum, or fall through the cracks. At ExcelPath, families begin the intake process immediately.
We provide free evaluations.
Families do not need to pay for an initial evaluation. This removes one of the biggest barriers, especially for families who are overwhelmed by the diagnostic process.
What services do we offer?
ABA therapy delivered by trained behavior technicians and supervised by BCBAs. Speech therapy provided by licensed speech-language pathologists. Occupational therapy provided by licensed occupational therapists. All three services under one roof with a collaborative treatment model.
What insurance do we accept?
We are a licensed EIDBI provider. We accept Minnesota Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, TEFRA, and other qualifying programs. We handle all insurance authorizations in house.
What does the referral process look like?
Call us at (612) 607-3861 or have the family call us directly. We do not require formal referral paperwork to start. Once the family contacts us, we handle the rest.
If you want to discuss a specific patient before making a referral, call us. Our clinical team is happy to talk it through.
Who owns ExcelPath?
ExcelPath is owned by a BCBA. Not a private equity firm. Clinical decisions are made by clinicians.
Our multilingual team:
We serve families in English, Spanish, Hmong, and other languages. If you are referring a family that speaks a language other than English, let us know and we will match them with the right team member.
